Death Tarot Candle - Major Arcana
Reading tarot cards is a journey of lifelong learning...
Every pull in every spread we throw is different and provides and opportunity for us as readers to connect more thoroughly with the cards and their symbolism.
Each candle within my tarot candle collection contains scents and references that correspond to the meaning and overall energy of the card.
Death is an often misunderstood card - it doesn't indicate *physical* death - more like death of a karmic cycle. For this reason, I'd love to rename it "resurrection" or something like that. Its keywords are: Endings, change, transformation, transition
The Death card can be one of the most positive cards in the deck.
Death indicates a time of significant transformation, change and transition. You need to profoundly transform yourself and clear away the old to bring in the new. Any change at this time should be welcomed as a positive, cleansing, transformative force in your life. The death and clearing away of limiting factors can open the door to a wider, more satisfying experience of life.
The scent is fresh, spring grass - indicative of Death's new beginnings and message of transformation.
Remember, the sun appears to 'die' each night... but is reborn in the morning.
Choose this candle if you're embarking on a new journey in life - pondering karmic relationships - you simply love the scent of fresh grass - or you need to meditate and focus on Death as an archetype.
