The Grove: Witchcraft Beyond the Basics
A 13-Week Advanced Training in Practical Sorcery & Applied Spellcraft with Amy C Wilson, CMHC


Classes Start Sunday, March 8th 2026 at 1:30pm - 3:30pm est
Classes held weekly with the exception of holidays. Schedule will be issued on the first day of class.


Prerequisite: Completion of The Grove – Witchcraft 101
This is not beginner’s Craft.


Beyond the Basics is for those who have built their elemental foundation, who can hold a circle, enter trance, and cast with intention — and who are ready to deepen their authority.
If Witchcraft 101 taught you how to root, this training teaches you how to wield.
This 13-week advanced course moves into operative sorcery, psychic discipline, and structured spell systems. It is not chaotic experimentation. It is controlled power.
You will be expected to practice. You will be expected to hold containment. You will be expected to take responsibility for what you move.


Course Structure (13 Weeks)
Weeks 1–2: Psychic Visions & Controlled Sight
Sight is not fantasy. It is trained perception.
You will develop:
  • Structured psychic vision practices
  • Strengthening the internal screen
  • Distinguishing symbolic vision from external contact
  • Maintaining grounding while receiving information
You will refine accuracy — not inflate imagination.


Weeks 3–4: The Astral Plane
The astral is a landscape, not a daydream.
You will learn:
  • The structure of the astral field
  • Safe methods of entry and return
  • Navigation techniques
  • Containment and boundaries
  • Why sovereignty matters in astral work
This section emphasizes discipline. No drifting. No dissociation.


Week 5: Oil & Incense Making
A witch should know how to build their own materia.
You will learn:
  • Formulating ritual oils with purpose
  • Blending incenses for specific outcomes
  • Charging and dedicating blends
  • The energetic architecture behind ingredients
You will create working blends — not decorative crafts.


Week 6: Using Personal Concerns
Sympathetic magic requires precision.
We will cover:
  • What qualifies as a personal concern
  • Ethical considerations
  • Containment and storage
  • Incorporation into spell work
  • How to neutralize or release concerns properly
This is operative spellcraft — not casual manipulation.


Week 7: Mojos & Jar Magick
Container magic builds sustained influence.
You will learn:
  • Constructing and feeding a mojo bag
  • The mechanics of jar spells
  • Long-term workings vs. short-term spells
  • Activation, maintenance, and proper disposal
You will build and anchor a living working.


Week 8: Candle Magick
Fire focuses will.
This section includes:
  • Advanced candle preparation
  • Dressing, carving, and layering intention
  • Multi-candle operations
  • Reading flame and wax behavior
  • Closing and clearing residual energy
Candle magick becomes precise, not hopeful.


Week 9: Charms & Trinkets
Power can be worn, carried, and hidden.
You will explore:
  • Constructing charged charms
  • Creating talismans with purpose
  • Temporary vs. permanent enchantments
  • How to deactivate and cleanse items
This is portable power.


Weeks 10–11: Psychic Self-Defense & Protection
Authority requires defense.
You will learn:
  • Recognizing psychic intrusion
  • Strengthening energetic boundaries
  • Shielding without paranoia
  • Building layered protection systems
  • Maintaining sovereignty in hostile environments
Protection is skill — not fear.


Week 12: Hexing, Uncrossing & Clearing
Power includes shadow.
This section addresses:
  • Ethical responsibility in coercive or defensive magic
  • The mechanics of crossing and binding
  • When not to hex
  • Uncrossing methods
  • Clearing residual spiritual debris
This is approached soberly and responsibly. You will not be taught recklessness.


Week 13: Advanced Spell Construction
Integration week.
You will:
  • Design a multi-layered working
  • Incorporate materia, container, and fire
  • Raise and direct power
  • Close and seal the operation
This final working demonstrates your containment, discipline, and sovereignty.
