The Grove: Witchcraft 101
A 13-Week Foundational Training in Practical Witchcraft with Amy C Wilson, CMHC
Classes Start Sunday, March 8th 2026 at 11am est
Classes held weekly with the exception of holidays. Schedule will be issued on the first day of class.
Offered In-Person and Virtual
The Grove is not performance magic.
It is disciplined, embodied Craft.
This 13-week foundational course is designed to build real skill, energetic stamina, discernment, and magical sovereignty. Whether you are newly called or returning to your practice with maturity and intention, this training provides structure, transmission, and grounded development.
You may attend in person for hands-on experiential learning and circle work, or virtually for fully guided participation from your own sacred space. Both formats receive live instruction, ritual participation, and practical application. Virtual students are not observers — they are active participants in the working current.
This is not aesthetic witchcraft.
This is functional Craft.
Course Structure (13 Weeks)
Weeks 1–2: The Elements — The Living Foundation
Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Spirit are not symbols — they are currents within the body and the world.
You will learn:
- How to feel and embody the Elements internally
- Signs of elemental imbalance and how to correct it
- Daily alignment practices
- How elemental mastery stabilizes spell work
You begin by rooting.
Weeks 3–4: Building an Elemental Power Base
Power must be cultivated before it can be directed.
You will learn how to:
- Accumulate and store elemental energy
- Strengthen your nervous system for magical work
- Charge tools and objects
- Build an altar that functions as a true power center
This is where your practice gains endurance and containment.
Weeks 5–6: Trance Work — Walking Between Worlds
All deeper witchcraft requires controlled shifts in awareness.
You will practice:
- Breath and gaze induction
- Entering light and medium trance safely
- Maintaining sovereignty in altered states
- Returning fully grounded
Trance is the bridge between worlds. Without it, magic remains surface-level.
Week 7: The Magickal Circle
The circle is not decoration — it is containment and vessel.
You will learn:
- When and why to cast a magickal circle
- Proper opening and closing techniques
- Holding energetic boundaries
- Circle as protection and power amplifier
You will cast and hold a circle that stabilizes real work.
Week 8: The Spirit World
Witchcraft is relational — but never submissive.
We will cover:
- Types of spirits (personal, ancestral, land, otherworldly)
- Discernment practices
- Boundaries and spiritual hygiene
- Safe engagement practices
Sovereignty is central. Authority remains with you.
Week 9: Thought Forms
Energy responds to focus.
You will learn:
- What thought forms are
- How unconscious constructs drain energy
- Creating intentional thought forms
- Clearing and dissolving constructs safely
Precision replaces leakage.
Weeks 10–11: Divination & Scrying
A witch must perceive clearly.
You will practice:
- Foundational divination principles
- Developing intuitive accuracy
- Mirror, water, flame, and internal scrying
- Receiving without dissociation
Divination is trained perception — not guessing.
Weeks 12–13: Spell Casting
Spell casting is directed influence.
You will learn:
- Constructing a spell from intention to completion
- Timing and preparation
- Raising and directing power
- Ethical responsibility and consequence
- Clean release and integration
You will design and cast a complete working within protected circle.
What You Will Leave With
- Elemental alignment practice
- A stable energetic power base
- Trance competency
- A functioning magickal circle method
- Spirit world discernment
- Thought form mastery
- Divination and scrying skills
- The ability to cast spells responsibly and effectively
In-person students will experience embodied group circle work.
Virtual students will learn how to anchor and hold power within their own home space — a critical skill for solitary practice.
The Grove builds roots.
Rooted witches do not scatter.
They do not burn out.
They hold their ground — and their power.
If you feel the threshold before you, step forward.
