The Hermit Tarot Candle - Major Arcana
Introspection and wisdom, wiseman archetype
Wooden wick candle
Great gift for a tarot reader
Reading tarot cards is a journey of lifelong learning...
Every pull in every spread we throw is different and provides and opportunity for us as readers to connect more thoroughly with the cards and their symbolism.
Each candle within my tarot candle collection contains scents and references that correspond to the meaning and overall energy of the card.
The Hermit keywords are: Soul-searching, introspection, being alone, inner guidance
In his right hand, he holds a lantern that has a six-pointed star inside; it is the Seal of Solomon, a symbol of wisdom. As the Hermit walks his path, the lantern lights the way; but it only reveals his next few steps rather than the full journey.
He must continue to step forward in order to see where to go next, knowing that not everything will be revealed at once. In his left hand, the side of the subconscious mind, he holds a long staff (a sign of his power and authority) which he uses to guide and balance him.
The scent is a Lavender Sage combination. Lavender for it's soothing properties and sage for it's cleansing.... I thought it a perfect combination for introspection and those times when you need to 'Hermit' away from the world.
I'd suggest The Hermit candle if you're looking for some introspective time, or want to connect with The Hermit as an archetype.
